Elected to EHE International
Medical Advisory Board
New York, New York – January 14, 2008 – EHE International, a nationally recognized leader in of preventive health plans and programs, announced today the election of two new members to its Board of medical advisors.
Michael Friedman, PhD has extensive experience in the treatment of depression, eating and weight disorders, anxiety disorders, and chronic disease management. Dr. Friedman received his B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania, and his PhD in Clinical Psychology from Yale University; he completed his predoctoral internship and post–doctoral fellowship at Brown University School of Medicine. Dr. Friedman is a partner at the Manhattan Cognitive Behavioral Associates of New York City.
Peter Sheehan, MD is a well–respected specialist in the field of diabetes particularly as it relates to lower extremity complications of the disease, and is a pioneer in vascular medicine as related to diabetic wounds. Dr. Sheehan is a graduate of the SUNY–Downstate School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in internal medicine. He completed his fellowship in endocrinology and metabolism at the Yale University School of Medicine. In addition to his New York City private practice activities, Dr. Sheehan serves as a national board member of the American Diabetes Association, and is a member of the editorial board of Vascular Disease Management.
